I've been trying to get this project working. After doing a cap kit the game is still playing blind.

I went through all the chassis transistors and had to replace one and fix one that had connectivity between it and the chassis. I notice now that the F5 fuse is blowing immediately. I Replaced the fuse and removed the monitor from the mix and still have F5 blowing. Anyone know what this runs and what can be causing it to blow? Thanks in advance for any help.

F5 is one leg of the 36VAC. Your problem lies on your ARII board. Likely a short diode. I'd think CR5 or CR6, based on which fuse it is, but I could be wrong; check CR7 & CR8 too.

PS--I always start working on a "project" game at the power cord. Verfy voltage. Proceed to the transformer(s), verify all outputs. Proceed to power supply(ies), verify all outputs. Etc.

Thanks Darren - I'll check those later today. I should also note that F4 has blown as well.
