What's the micro farad and voltage used on the Tempest power supplies? Just curious to know what the rating is as I may have to replace it.
Are they all the same?
Thanks.

You only need to replace it if you can measure it as being bad.

To do so, measure the AC voltage on the 10.3V DC test point on the AR. It should be around 03-0.4V AC. Unless it's 1V or more, your big blue is fine.

I was rather surprised that when I re-ordered these from the manufacturer - I got an email from the manufacturer asking if it was OK if the part was marked "BIG BLUE". I'm thinking Bob Roberts was the one that started them marking BIG BLUE on their caps.

Glad to see you back from vacation GPE.

Your site still says:
"7 Jan 2018
Just reopened after taking two weeks vacation. Due to an extremely high number of orders this past week - we need to disable the checkout function until we're caught up. This may take a few days."

Are you caught up?

I needed to place an order for your value molex type connectors and Trifurcon pins.

Please do pm me if you are shipping new orders.

Thanks.

Yes, and those caps had a BLACK covering (PET sleeve) making it that more confusing. "Black pretending to be Classic Blue". LOL
