First game I ever bought, non-working, last game I got up and running. Big blue + AR2 rebuild got it playing blind, cap kit didn't cure the monitor woes. Went back last weekend and traced through monitor stuff and got it working.

I've been playing it every day this week, and man, what an awesome game. Incredible that this is thirty years old. I'm too young to have played it in the arcades, but I fell in love with vector games in general and Tempest specifically because of Microsoft Arcade — which is now than Tempest was when it came out. I don't know if the real thing is harder or my 20-year-older reflexes suck more, but it's very challenging. I love it.

It's great that you arent a product of the 80's but love the classics form the golden age! Awesome lineup you have, very cool. Looks like you really take care of them. To me they are more then just games they have almost become like art, have fun, enjoy, thx for sharing...

Cool lineup man. I have a Tempest and Galaga cabaret as well and absolutely love them.

Any working Tempest is awesome. Looks like you have some good taste in games, nice lineup.

Thanks, guys. I do love the 1980s games, though there are some 1990s title I'd love to have, too. Definitely a Neo-Geo in my future, and maybe a SF2.
