Another classic brought back to life thanks to KLOV! This Tempest was pieced back together...empty cab found on CL, control panel & boards from KLOV, AR2 I think came from a local buddy (thanks Dave), monitor from Quarterarcade, 6100 rebuild kit from Bob and some other bits from Radio Shack.

In addition to rebuilding the monitor, I also had to fix the boards as well, which Im sure peeps like Talon helped me with a couple times. If I still had the names of those I got the parts from I'd give credit but I think those pms are gone.

Just needs a new back door and coin door lock, and into the Madman arcade it goes!

I have an original Tempest backdoor but it's missing the backdoor sheet. It's a little rough, but solid and usable. You can have it for free and I can bring it to barcade if you're going tomorrow.

Mine is a conglomeration of a few too. One water logged almost complete cab, an almost free converted cab in good shape and a couple of wiring harnesses. In the end it is all worth it. Tempest rocks. Now if a good marquee and CP repro come out it will be a happy day.

I love my pieced together Centipede. I always have a good feeling of personal accomplishment when I bring a cab back from an empty shell. To me, saving these cabs is what this hobby is all about. Great job!
