ok. I picked up a tekken 4 (box and jamma not a cab)seems a great game.
I'm conused though. game had 4 buttons. and yet when I go into test and push the buttons testing Input it register 1st 2 buttons and the punch ones. no kick buttons.
I am running a Neo 29 cab. stock wiring. one of the other buttons registers in the test but that spot shows as un asigned. also sound wise. I'm not getting sounds. at all but wonder there is a mini connector which came with it. looks like the cd-rom style of audio
connectors..
is my cab just wired different and this needs a special button config??

anyone have a pdf manual?
for tekken 4 and the neo 29 cab?

do you have the kick harness installed? :x

none of your low attacks will work without it.

kick

He's correct the kick buttons are on the kick harness. It's kind of strange they did it that way, but it works. Fun game!

I don't know if they use the same kind as Tekken 3/Tekken Tag or not. I mean, if need be, you could go the ghetto route and scrape the edge connector and solder wires directly.

cause those T3/TTT harnesses are next to impossible to find alone.

So there is a seprate kick harness??

Arug.. So there is a seprate harness for kicks??
Odd but least i know my cab isnt being freaky..
Ok,Well I guess im going to abandon this one too then,.
I dont wanna mod my Cab to play a single game..
Up for sale its going and im going to email the guy i bought it from.
Im kinda peeved that they said it all was there..
Ok, skip that im pissed...
Yea, it may not be a major thing but still pisses me off..
They should have made sure that it all was there.
UGH.. Still sweet set up. I went for that damned buy it impulse..
didnt sound to bad..

Kick harness wont require any modding its really isnt much work to add one.

Yea, i see where the kick harness went..

Yea, I see where the harness went.. hurmm.. Ill see if he has any clue on having the other one.. Ill call the guy i got it from, and if he has any idea. if not mabey someone here will have one, i dunno, I might go on a sale item too.. I am thinking its a awesome game, but I also wonder it might be easier to simply get a neo 4 slot lololol.. im still testing some other boards i got Battle toads works perfect so far lolol..
but ill check and see if they have that other connector.

sweet and sucks.

Ok, Went to where i bought the set up they had the connector in the random bag of parts lololol. Guess they have someone do their game work for them, they dont pay to much attention to being carefull though.. and all but hey i have all connectors and it runs great.

I will probly off this tekken 4 though, I found the manual online, and see what you all mean by the kick connector. I don't plan on modding my cab for one game and then have to switch back, mabey a sub joystick panel If i can scrounge up enough parts i dunno.
im kinda dissapointed though, i was hoping it all would use my existing jammaconnection wiring.. Figured being a 4 button game that it woulda just worked lolol..
I guess thats the newbie in me. thanks for the input everyone,

=-)
