Hi. I have a Tekken 3 Arcade Board that does not give me a video out.
I believe that the port on the back of the board is VGA at 15 KHz. However, when I plug my computer monitor (CRT) in however, the sync's are way off, and I get scrolling garbage that tends to move more in the horizontal position (H-SYNC).
The JAMMA connector does not give me a video out at all.
When I wire up the JAMMA and plug in my RGB to VGA converter board, I get a picture of the "This game is only for use in Japan..." (or whatever it has) screen. However, that image is garbled up also (colours are way off, and so is the position).
I have tried plugging the board into my Mortal Kombat II Arcade Machine with no luck either.
As for the sound on boot, all I hear is 'meh', for 1 second, then the audio is gone.
I have checked for damaged caps. All good.
I checked for broken traces. All good.
The power rails are all fine.
Any ideas?
(If you need pictures, let me know)
Thanks.
