Hello all,

I recently plugged my TMNT pin in. It made a funny hissing noise that it had never done before. I unplugged it, waited about a minute and then plugged it back in. It booted up correctly. I hit start and the machine began the play music but no ball went into the chute. The left flipper also started to act very week. I pulled the playfield glass and manually checked the bumpers. Everything seemed to work fine minus the chute and flipper.

Today I sat down to try and figure things out. Now nothing mechanical will function except the flippers. The flippers will respond but are very slow and labored. I ran the diagnostics and everything that is non mechanical works. The board LED's check OK as well. It will still keep score, run bonuses and all of that stuff. I have checked all of the fuses and they seem to be OK. I was hoping someone had an idea of where to begin.

I and my pin thank you in advance for any and all help you can provide.

Hi there,

I checked each of the fuses with the good old Fluke. Each checked out fine. As far as checking things from there I haven't done anything because I don't even know where to begin. This is my first pin and I know very little about how and why things work. If there is a common transistor that runs the whole works I will start there. That is why I was hoping someone had some insight as to where I should begin.

i would check the voltages on the power supply and make sure there right.i feel the power supply is the heart of any machine.good luck
