tecmo bowl in Ca 92324

lol its all good, I did go look at the listing. Looks like a great one, but 13 hours each way is just to much for me right now :)

maybe you can pay someone with parts to get it for you.. Seems to work in LA..

as for the one in LA, let it go. You missed on free.. Partygt won. you lost.. Be happy if you can get it for under $200. If you realy wanted the game, $200 is more than fair.

I am not sure on the threat to part it out, as that game strikes me it burns monitors bad, but still, it would be sad if a rare game died for its monitors.. if you like it, go get it..

wtf

i posted it up here for trade or sale

i was looking for a fair price so i could trade or sale it

not looking to get rich was hoping to trade for something i wanted

i saw the post and it sat there for 4 days befor i got it.

i dont cry when i see free games posted and i dont get them i dont get it.

anyways i have 3 hugh games i dont want

tecmo bowl working
gunman wars working
wwf game works one monitor works one is out

all 3 giant dual monitor games

i would sell all 3 for 300.00 or trade

the other 2 i did not get free so dont freak out!

man ,sell them for whatever you want, don't let a few crybabies egt ya down, hell everyone has got a game or two they don't want but i don't see anyone here giving away free working games. klov seems to be full of whining ass crybabies anymore.we all enjoy arcade games but if you have a game you don't like, sell it for a price your happy with and everybody wins.

People have driven thousands of miles for grails. It's all a question of how bad you really want it. Plus there is always the shipping option (yes it would be $$ for a game this size).

OK went to storage

temco bowl is working
wwf nice cab but both monitors need work/capping
gunman wars working but missing one monitor
the control panel is turned backwards in pic it is nice shape just needs one monitor

all 3 big all 3 for 200.00

According to this thread you got the game for free on 9/7 and by 9/22 at the very latest the cab was gutted and tossed in the trash. That's 15 days, maximum. I'd hardly call that "weeks".

hummm robotron jon 15 days is more then two weeks thus the weeks thing lol

had to be out of friends wherehouse,i saved the board monitors cardboard bezel and cp

if anyone needs those parts. i really am not sure why everyone cares what i do with

games i get but whatever. i give stuff away sell stuff cheap and rescue alot of cabs

that would go to landfills or be destroyed otherwise.

Bottom Line: If you are thinking of parting out a machine and selling the parts here (and even if you aren't looking to sell the parts here), please offer it up to the community for 2 weeks first. Yes you think it might not be worth saving. Yes you might not think anyone here will save it, or will pay enough to make saving it worth it to you. You might be right, you might not. Give it a chance please. If no one steps up, no harm, no foul, but you gave it a chance. The point is that its hard for many owners to guess what's in other people's mind (as to their willingness to save a game), and clearly from the posts on this forum and elsewhere many people guess wrong. If a machine gets parted out after 2 weeks and the poster acted in good faith, no should publicly gripe then. The community, and the individuals in it, at least had an opportunity. Not every game is going to be saved, and that's ok.The idea is not telling someone they can't part out a game, but simply asking them to give others a chance to save it, and during the test requiring them to give it a 2 week chance if they are going to sell the remains here. Then they can do what they want, no harm, no foul.

i agree. in the 15+ years i've been collecting i have only parted out and thrown away 1 machine and i have to do number 2 today. offering them up for 2 weeks is a fair amount of time.
