TECH: Sanyo 14" Atari Monitor - Vertical Collapse

I'm working on a Sanyo 14" Atari Monitor. This is in a Phoenix cabaret. I have a vertical collapse on this monitor. Did a full cap kit to rule out a capacitor issue but it still exists. Any idea which transistor are responsible for this issue? Anyone run into this yet?

Thanks.

I believe this might be the same Sanyo 14" used in Nintendo cocktail tables.
If so, the Vertical Output transistors are T902-903 2SD401A, if that fails they are fed by the smaller tranny T901. People also tend to check the resistors and diode before this.

Check http://www.mikesarcade.com/arcade/monitors.html and take a look at the 14" Sanyo schematic to make sure that is the one you have.
This monitor chassis could be customized depending on the game, so yours may differ at he video input stage and not have the 7400 Nand chip (plus a few extra components) as this was required for the negative video input for Nintendo.
If it is a square board with a corner taken out of it (for the neck pcb) then it's the one I am referring to.

Hope that helps,
Andy
