TECH: Rowe cd 100 e mechanism control computer

Hi,

I have a cd 100 e player with a 61086201 mechanism control computer. I was wondering if I can replace with a 61086202 computer. The 202 is from a wall box cd 100e and the 201 is from a floor model.

My 201 was playing fine but now it says board error on the mechanism control board.

Hey,

Do you have the manuals?
There are quite a few things that can give you a board error.
Did you check to see what error displays?
Is it an 05-63 Rowe Link error?
