Hey Guys,
I'm finishing up cleaning up my Doctor that I just recently picked up, it was filthy, and it was doing some weird intermittent registering of the optos during gameplay. I cleaned all the optos while shopping it and for the most part they have stopped.
BUT, the mini PF is giving me alot of trouble opto wise.
In test mode the mini PF registers #5 as on at all times and the right ball lock as on at all times it even causes the coil to fire repeatedly on startup.
I've cleaned all optos and even reflowed the solder on the opto boards because the receiver on #5 just fell off during cleaning because of cold solder joints.
I took the voltage reading with my DMM on all TPs 1-8 and I got what seemed like some strange readings, IMO. But from what I've been able to find they all seem in line but I'm not completely sure.
They were:
TP1: 14.3v
TP2: 5.0v
TP3: 12.1v
TP4: 0.4v
TP5: 0.0v
TP6: 73.2v
TP7: 21.6v
TP8: 15.6-16.3v (kept going back and forth)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
