(Not sure if this is the right place to post this on the forum)
We were contacted with a request to repair a 42" Rainbow Skill Crane that received extensive damage from shipping. The crane is located in Little Rock, AR. (I'm in VA)
Any recomendations on a good Tech or Op in this area?
The repair request is from the Shipping Carrier Insurance Claims. The Insurance company will purchase all parts required from Rainbow Crane so you will only need to provide your technical skill / labor.
The damage appears to be mostly cabinet / glass / cosmetic and more than likely the bridge & trolley will need some attention. The good news is that Rainbow Cabinets are made similar as ready to asseble furniture with the panels sliding into the side rails and screwed into place through the back side of the rails but they can be a bitch to get in place.
I can provide Tech Support via phone & email if needed.
You will be dealing directly with the Insurance Claims Gentlemen and will need to negotiate your rate (I would factor in a helper with the cabinet repairs) and payment terms directly with them. I am only seeking a referal for them as a courtesy as they contacted us first and I have no other obligations with this transaction.
If anyone is interested in taking this on (see the PDF for pictures), please pm me and I will send you the contact info.
