Waiting on schematics I have everything working except one of the cat targets wont rise if I manually trigger the coil it will rise and it drops when shot just doesn't come back up can someone with schematics tell me what triggers the coil to raise it?

I attached the schematic section I have a good connection from the B-W on the down position sw to the shot unit disc and I know the coil is good as it works when the target drops I even tried a jumper from the B-BLU on the left side still nothing. What am I missing guys?

looking at the schematic, i have some questions. what causes the cat to rise? its it a coil? i assume it drops with a release coil and maybe a spring? i see a witch up relay, its there a cat up relay? i dont see a cat up coil in the schematic segment you posted.

The cats each have one solenoid [ Cat Release Coil] which, when activated, allows the Cat Cam to rotate. One activation drops the Cat another activation resets the Cat to the up position via the motor and the slip clutch mechanism. The motor is always running (turning) and the Cat Cams (L & R) only turn when released. Since you said that the cat will drop when 'hit' and rise when manually released we have to assume that the 'UP' release activation is not occurring. We know that the Right Cat Release Coil is working since it will cause a drop. The possible causes are a bad connection on the Cat Position Switch or a bad connection through the Shot Unit Disc. Trace the Black-White wire from the Right Cat Position switch through the 9-pin connector (pin 4) to the Shot Unit Disc. This line goes through the Track's Ribbon Cable assembly. Could be a bad wire in the ribbon or a bad pick-up on the Disc. Let us know what you find. Good Luck.

It's driving me crazy I have jumpered from the connection at the shot disc to the down position switch bypassing the ribbon cable with no change.

Hmmmmm.. With power off and unplugged measure the continuity of the Cat Position switch in both positions. Maybe there's a misadjusted leaf switch on that Cat's Cam follower.

With power applied and the Cat in the DOWN position does the Cat Release coil engage if you carefully connect the Black-White wire to the game's 0Volt (return) line? Just make a quick contact (< 1sec). If the coil engaged and the Cat went UP, double check the Shot Unit Disc for continuity with power removed. 50VAC can be very dangerous in the wrong circumstances so please be cautious.

Sorry if these are already obvious to you, I don't know how much you've checked so far or your electrical background.
