TECH: Looking for Schematics/Pinout for Video Game Tester

Picked up one of these bad boys but there was no manual and I can't find any manufacturer label on any of the stuff.

Anyone have one with a manual, schematic or pinout?

Thanks

I've been unable to find any mfg markings on any of the units.

Your manufacturer's marking is right here (a stylized "V" with a lower-case "i" inside of it):

hmmm...no, can you pop the link over? I've checked the Spies mirror and arcarc.xmission.com to no avail.

Started manually populating a list from the three labeled connectors. Boy, THAT is tedious!

One of them is an Atari ARII... and a more populated one than any I've seen. Perhaps it's another dash-number (here's a -02: http://www.elektronforge.com/Images/AR2_2.jpg)

Yeah, I know. If I had to guess I would say it is a -03.

OP, what voltage levels are marked on the switcher? An ARII outputs nearly every voltage level you could need, so I wonder what the switcher is being used for...

It's basically a JAMMA rig on steroids with big honkin' plugs to the board an a smaller honkin' plug for the monitor (either RGB or XY). The ARII (A035435) has the 22V section for the XY monitor.

But as you can see, all the wires are the same color. ARRG!!

Looks like the output of the switcher goes into J7 of the ARII, which is the +5V output (as well as audio input, but it doesn't look to be on those pins). I guess either the ARII's +5 is disabled, or the switcher is supposed to just "share the load" with the AR...

yes but you only have to do that once for each connection. Pop the cover and post some pics. I will look at what I can for you.

Posted some pics before, here they are in one posting.

Thanks
