The right sling bumper (above flipper) on my POTO stopped working. The coil is getting the proper volts, so I figured it was the switch. I saw this electrical part (transistor, capistor, etc) that was broken. The only identifying marks on it are "19". Sorry for the bad picture, that's the best I could get close up. Looks like a top hat with two wires coming out the bottom (except this one only has one wire coming out the bottom.

1. Can anyone tell me what part this is?
2. Does it have to go back a certain way?

As always, all help is appreciated.

if i'm looking at the picture right, that's a radial lead electrolytic capacitor. very common. clip the leads and take it in to a local electronics store. even radio shack might have a replacement if it's a really common size. then you'll need to unsolder the old leads and solder the replacement in.

Edit To Add: and, yes, it should go in a certain way. capacitors have a + and - side and you'll need the replacement to go in the same way as the original is in.
