I've never rebuilt flippers before but the strange science I am shopping seems to have pretty weak flippers. So I pulled them apart. The sleeves and everything was frickin LATHERED in what seemed like heavy duty grease. Those are soaking right now. I don't have rebuild kits for them, was just going to clean everything up and reinstall...anything else I should do to get them rocking? I don't really understand the whole 'end of stroke' thing but that's probably the next thing to do?

EOS switch cuts the coil over from a higher power winding to a lower power one, just to hold the flipper up while you keep the button pushed down to catch and hold balls. That way, you still get a high power shot at the beginning, but don't melt your coils when you hold the button down.

I worked on a funhouse that had wd40 on most if the coils. It took a long time to clean and replace parts. New sleeves are a must after you see what's up with the flipper bits. Flipper rebuild kits are easy and make a world of difference.
