I picked up an Elevator Action and the seller said it had no power. I tried it last night with the back door and coin door closed and the power came on. The marque lights up and the monitor comes on. You can also hear a hum from the speaker. The game will not come up I only have a white screen. Could it be the PCB or the filter board above the PCB?

Thanks for your help,
John

theres white wires at the filter board.. CAREFULLY remove them and retest.. (mine had that issues once when i accidentally plugged them back in and forgot i had done so)

also check your +5 volts out of the power supply to make sure its good

chips4sle ended up with my ea, as well as the spare boardset. If you think you need a boardset, send them a pm and see if they would consider selling it to ya. iirc it worked fine, might have a few filter caps broken off but did work when tested.

Thanks for the info. I just noticed that one of the LED's is not on and the BR 1 Bridge was removed and wires had been installed in it's place. The wires were soldered to the bottom of the board. I'm going to install a switcher hopfully this will solve the problem.

i hope so too man... mine had one in it too but for some reason like i said it wouldnt fire up with those white wires hooked up
