tech: atomiswave system adds "ghost credits"

i have 2 different games that have atomiswave systems;
1) extreme hunting
2) faster than speed

both games on coin play.
both of them sometimes add credits on their own.
coin switches are all fine.

turn game on and game has 0 credits.
look at game 2 hours later and it has 20 (etc) credits on it.
each of them do this
both in the atomoswave style cabs.
anyoen ever seen this?

Check the coin voltages at coin 1, 2 and service, they all should be 5 volt, also leave input test mode instead of demo so you can check which input is going down at the credit input moment, good luck

Also check for physical damage to the wiring harness and to the game board, especially the resistor packs near the JAMMA edge connector that keep those input lines at logic level High.

all coin door wiring and switches were fine. nothign bare, no wires touchign metal anywhere all the way back to the jamma board.
even with the wires disconnected from the switches it still adds ghost credits. it cant be the service switch either as it only adds "partial" credits at a time. serice switch would add a full credit.
its $1 to play, so it adds 1/4 credits at random..
its not the cartridge either, i swapped it out with another.
im betting on the actual atomoswave unit itself.
i was really hoping someone else had encountered this.
its pretty silly that 2 different of my games do this at 2 different locations.

oddly enough, the current game ( extreme hunting in atomiswave cabinet) was fine and and always has been, i simply moved it to another location carefully and it started this behavior the same day i moved it there..

I'd start checking grounds and power input to the cab. If you have a hot/neutral swapped and a ground lead missing you'll have all kinds of odd things happening.
