I have a home customer that purchased this game new Andimiro Pump It Up Extreme about 7 years ago. It has Very little home use only. Looks like it was just uncrated.
Comes up with error on monitor check cables/connection, just like if the monitor signal was disconnected. I checked all power
supplies good. Has code 86/87 on small display near main pcb. I
checked the mother board and reseated prism cards etc to no avail. I
did check the button battery and its dead. I will be going back in the
next few days and wondering if others have any ideas or exp. with this
game? Would a battery failure cause the bd not to power up.? Thanks in
advance for any insight. Not sure if anyone has exp with these? or repairs these board. JR

Replaced battery/another issue

Hello, I replaced battery and game came up in a bios screen like it was waiting for me to key something in. I powered down and rebooted and game came up with key lock error. It does this with 2 different discs and security keys. Just curious if the board has to be reformatted somehow to recognize the port with secrity key etc after a cpu battery failure? Thanks in advance! JR
