Hey guys! As many of you know, I'm going to be putting my WWF Wrestlefest into a new cabinet, just as soon as I can get down to get it in Cadillac. The monitor in my current cabinet (if you can call the hackjob a cabinet lol) is shot, so I'm not worried bout that, but what are the key things that I need to pull before it gets too cold (it's currently in the garage)?

Thanks so much guys!

The cold won't bother much if it isn't powered up with a lot of moisture around. The big problem is condensation shorting things when its turned on. Just make sure its given time to warm up and any condensation to evaporate before powering it up and you should be fine.

yeah, we've had games stored in extreme cold temperatures over the years... like totally non-heated garage. the secret is just letting it warm up for awhile first. you can especially make monitors go *pop* if you drag it in from the cold and just plug it in. (done this with a Polo)

this is pretty common sense though, the moisture from being out in the cold.

Sorry for hijacking the thread but what do you guys mean by "letting it warm up"? I also will be storing a game in my unheated garage for the first time ever and being that it gets very cold here in Canada, I would like to take all the necessary steps to ensure everything will work next spring when I fire it up.

When next spring rolls around, drag it inside for a day or so and let it get up to room temp's before turning it on. Also a good idea to peak in the back for any moisture left around just in case.
