I need to replace IC101 in a Neotec 2515c. It calls for a TDA4605-15. This chip seems to be hard to get. I can find plenty of tda4605s and tda4605-3s. Does anyone know if a tda4605 will be a good replacement?
thanks
you should be ok with plain tda4605.. i use those and have not run into a problem yet.
I did not look at the datasheets maybe one has a lower startup current which might be an issue. let me know what you find out.
Thanks for your reply Chad.
I have looked for a datasheet on the tda4605-15 and even though I find listings, they always end up coming up as nothing available and then it lists the 4605, 4605-2 and 4605-3
I asked Newark electronics about using a 4605 in place of the 4605-15 and they said the -15 was a special order and that I had to do a parts inquiry. I did and they never responded.
So I will give the 4605 a shot.
thanks again for your help.
