I cannot stop thinking about tax time closing in and I plan on spending a good amount on the basement arcade. Carpet,a bar, and some neons,of course more cabs. Having 4 kids at tax time is great!!!! lol You guys have any plans arcade wise for your refund??

I had to pay $200 in taxes last year. Truthfully I got money back from the government, but my tax preparation bill from H&R block was $200 more than I got back. This "freelance" thing isn't all it's cracked up to be.

What is this "tax refund" you speak of? I seem to remember these years ago, but I can't say that I have seen one of these in a long time.

If I get anything back it'll go to the principal on my mortgage.

every year I plan on hootin and hollerin with coke and whores. every year I get enough back to subsidize a 99 cent Jr Bacon Cheeseburger and a biggie coke.

Refund? I never get a refund. If you don't have kids you will never get one, unless you purposely have them withhold like half your paycheck. My sister and brother-in-law usually get around $8000. Sounds like redistribution of wealth to me.

I have no kids that I'm aware of and no wife thank god and
I always get a good sized refund thanks to my big California mortgage!

Well I guess if home prices are absurd, like in California, you might still get a refind under these circumstances. I have a mortgage, but without kids it's still not enough to get me a refund.

Since I will be paying for your refund (when they ask me to send more money and then cut you a checK), I'm going to ask that you install neon carpet. I chickened out on putting it in my arcade.

:)

Actually home prices in California have come down about 40% the last 2 years and if I could I would buy another house now

We use our refund each year to update the house; carpets, floors, appliances, etc. This year I think we are recarpetting the house.
