Tapper w/ factory credit button

Hi,
Came across a very interesting Tapper that has a factory "coin door" without the mechs and a factory credit switch installed.
I was wondering if anyone had come across a similar game and if so the story behind this machine.

I have a similar Asteroids. It's just that it came out of a free play Arcade (Disney). They installed a blank coin door with a button for credit, and an adapter to the wiring harness.

Does someone have a link to the product, I cant remember the name, but basically it was a hardware solution to free play. Pressing 1 added 2 credit pressing 2 added two credits then did the 1 or 2 signal
