Tapper Restore Finally Done (Took 6 months to get to it & 2 days to complete)

Yes I finally finished my Tapper restoration today. It took me about 6 month to actually get to it because of all these damn projects and games I always have coming in. Well I finally said enough is enough. As soon as my fellow klover Mike Roma came by to help me apply the sideart it was off to the races. I stayed up till about 5am and finished the rest today. Once I started I didn't want to stop. I will be keeping this one and putting my other up for sale soon. More pics can be seen here http://www.flickr.com/photos/djdns/

P.S. Special thanks to Rich at T.O.G. for stepping up and making things like this possible. Waiting on the new overlays now!

Thanks. Yeah it's amazing what you can get done when you stay off the computer aka klov for a day or two! L.O.L.

Looks great!

You should look into getting the cup holders and foot bar re-plated or anodized instead of the paint..

I forgot to give you a Tapper coaster when I saw you!!

It was never a Rootbeer Tapper. It was a Tapper that someone converted into a Sega Columns. I then restored it back to a Tapper. They made that control panel out of wood to fit the cab, if thats what you were referring to as far as a Rootbeer cab.

I was going by the panel. Hard to see from the photo, but it does not look like it was drilled for cupholders. It did have the bar, so if you say so, I will not disagree.

No problem. The cup holders really just rest on top of the edges and screw in from the sides, which the holes where there already and this had the foot bar as seen in the pics, in which the Rootbeer Tappers had no bar.
