Hello, I was directed to a site via this board where I could purchase a Tapper FREEPLAY ROM chip.
http://www.hobbyroms.com/
I purchased the ROM and when it arrived I installed it on the middle board in location 1C and made certain the notches were lined up.
When I fired up the Tapper the screen read "ROM ERROR 1C"
I contacted the seller Stephen and he was very gracious and sent me out a replacement right away.
I got it today, installed it on the middle PCB board in location 1C with the notches lined up. Fired up the Tapper and... "ROM ERROR 1C"
Help, does anyone have any experience with this, what could I be doing wrong? My Tapper has a new modern power supply, could that be an issue. Could the ROM be burned backwards and lining up the notches is wrong, should I try switching it around?
