When we launched Tapatalk support 2 weeks ago, we started a 2-week test of allowing Tapatalk to show admob ads at the bottom of the screen.

In short, a lot of people are using Tapatalk, and ads were shown on the bottom of the screen about 80% of the time. Some people clicked on them.

We continue to look for ways to help support (1) the costs in running these forums, (2) site expansion, and (3) establishing funds towards special events and exhibits as well as a permanent museum.

The AdMob revenue the last two weeks was NOT a significant addition to the budget here. As such, the mobile ads have been turned off at this time.

Update: 3/21/11 Ads are still displaying, we are just not getting credit for them now. No Bueno. I posted on Tapatalk's forums about this and am awaiting a response.
