I have 3 sets all original tall textured cones all work and light up I tested each with a multimeter. Each set of 2 is ̶$̶6̶5̶ ̶s̶h̶i̶p̶p̶e̶d̶ ̶ $60 shipped

I have each set in a bag labeled A, B or C so which ever set you want you will get.

How are you powering those? They look like they're being overdriven. (Too bright.)

If you're hooking them to a voltage source, make sure you have an appropriate current limiting resistor in series. Else you can do damage to the LEDs.
 
I used a 150 ohm resistior and the main work bench light was off. They didnt look all that bright with the light on. I have made lots of stuff using LED's well aware of having to use a resistor.
