This game was brought to me with flipper issues. Sometimes they worked, other times not. I figure easy fix, clean the flipper switchs on the cabinet. Now the right 2 flippers are working great, but the left does not work more than it does work. I notice in test mode that the led associated with the left flipper does not light everytime the button is depressed like it should. I'm thinking bad solder on connector of flipper control board, no they are good. Next I'm looking at the EOS, nope it's making and breaking just fine. Continuity from cabinet switch to flipper board, check.. from EOS to the flipper board, check also. Hmmmm??? Board problem?? So I had the cabinet switch jumped with a jumper and was poking around the EOS, dang if the blade wasn't cracked inside the wafer stack!!!
New EOS all is well. Took about 3 beers to figure that one out... I must be slipping!
Anyway I just thought I'd pass this along in case someone else has a similar problem.

Might be a fuse holder on the flipper board. DE games are notorious for the fuse holders splitting. If you push on the fuse and the holders gives you should replace the fuse holder. Make sure you buy the right ones. I got home with new fuse holders and they were the opposite of the way they needed to be to go trough the board. That would be one thing I would check.

Just read your post and you already found the problem. That's what beer will do to you!
