I can see value in pulling the part of the neck of a g07 so someone can make a connector for a rejuvenator. I have 3 or 4 tubes I am taking to recycle.

Should I mess around with removing the yoke, or whatever the hell people pull?

and

Is there any danger in it? Do I need to discharge anything, or be aware of something blowing up if I do it wrong?

Or just say f>>k it and take the entire thing (minus frame) to the recycler?

If these are arcade monitors then yes, pull the yokes. There is no danger of discharge from the yoke. Just loosen the screw(s), twist, and pull.

Yeah...pull the yokes and rings. Find yourself a nice 80's TV with a compatible tube and make yourself a nice new old school monitor.

i need another g07 shield with deaguss coil if you have it....pm me.

(this is the big shield that covers the back of the monitor)

I think a couple of my g07's have had that shield. this one doesn't (I don't believe).
I may hold the g07 for a few extra days since I finally found where I can drop these. it works great, but the ms pac burn hurts your eyes when the game is off!

got a Go7 with Mr Do's Castle burn in. I thought I could live with it but I guess I was wrong. It'll do but I'll search for another tube.
