Got an X2 system here that's been slowing down over the past few months... it's got to the point where BlazBlue takes sometimes up to 3mins to load a stage and the computer inside randomly shuts down and reboots.
Is it safe to treat the system like I would a regular computer? Or is there any special maintenance I should know about. I haven't opened up the comp. case in there to look but I'm assuming there has to be a hard-drive, can it be defragged, chkdsk'd, etc etc?
We have an extra large fan blowing on it and the air being blown out of the comp case is pretty cool... so I don't think that overheating is as big of an issue as it could be... I don't know if maybe the PC's PS is acting up? Maybe a bios issue? Maybe the Windows OS it runs on is (no doubt) a little screwy('r than usual)?
Has anyone worked on these before? If it was mine, I'd just gut the thing and check out everything that I can... but seeing as this is not my system and I don't want to be held responsible for any damage that my curiosity could/would cause.
