Bought a Taito Trimline Space Invaders game in Denver for $200. It's in need of some work but plays fine and has a good monitor in it.

Parts are hard to find for this game. I ended up buying a donor cab from a guy in Loveland for $100. He said the monitor was bad and this was the only picture I had to go on...

From the picture I could see that the bezel glass was nice and it had the lower coin door. That was enough for me to buy it.

When I got it home and on further inspection it seems the donor cab had fallen over at some point because the top wood was cracked all the way across. There were also a hole in both sides of the cab. I tweaked with the game and the monitor works. The game plays through the attract mode but I can't get it to credit up to play it. Anyways...good donor cab and had some spare parts if needed.

Got some new T-molding that I need to install.

Need to buy a speaker cover since I am not fixing the messed up wood. Corner of cab is beat up. I am not doing a full breakdown restore so I have new corner protectors to make things nice and prevent further damage.

More pictures to come...

that bezel looks awesome. any chance you can scan it?

can you post some pics of the back door, with measurements of where the holes are cut. I need to make a back door for mine eventually.

Funny, mine is missing the back door too. :D Measurements would be a nice thing!

My scanner isn't big enough. I can ask around town to see if someone could do it for me. I would like to have it scanned so it could be reproduced as an underlay. Also, the other Taito Trimline games that have a vertical monitor use the same bezel just a different set of border colors (i.e. Polaris is a dark blue and a lighter blue). I'm sure someone with some basic PhotoShop skills could change them easily enough.

Also, I will get some pictures of the back door and measurements to post.

Almost finished with my clean-up restore on this. I put new T-molding on the sides and installed the corner protectors.

All that is left is the speaker cover on the front. I will take some pictures of the front as soon as I get that on. It takes me a while to get my games done as I am disabled and sick. I takes most of my energy to do just a little work...but it's fun so I'll keep doing it.

I got the measurements of the back door...

I am going to scan my home-made back door plans and post it here tonight. It's not a very nice drawing but it lays out all of the measurements and it's accurate.

I have the scan but it is too big to upload. If you needed the plans for the Taito Trimline back door, give me your email and I will send you the PDF.

99% finished. All I need now is new 25 cent inserts for the coin mechs. Here are the long overdue pictures of the front...

I could use the PS board out of one of these if anyone has a working one...

Nobody wanted my project cab so I'll be parting it out soon. Keep an eye out.

If the PS works, don't bother listing it. Just PM me the price and we'll go from there. I don't normally visit the For Sale section or the Ebay-type places, because I'm usually not buying random stuff. So, if you don't let me know, I'll miss it....

I have two of these games and several extra sets of parts. One of them is destined to become a 20-1 Taito multi.
I might have an extra working power supply so if NERDtendo doesn't hook you up... I should be able to.
