Trimline cabs are arguably the best-looking cabarets. Good job making this one look nice!
Agreed, though I am partial to Taito cabs. I really want to build a second one with SI Part II installed in it.

Once you flip that door, you can get a trim set from Bob.

Of course youll still be missing mechs and wiring, but this will really make it look complete.
What happened to the other trimline cabinet? I still need one! After countless woman hours, too much dinero, and two Taito Si Trimline cabs, I give thee, my fully working AND complete SI Trimline!!!
A couple of weeks ago fellow forum member Tighe alerted me to another Trimline for sale in Queens, NY. I wrote the seller immediately and waited anxiously by the phone for his call. It brought me back to my high school days waiting for Bobby the QB to invite me to the prom. I thought that between this cab and my cab I could complete my Trimline project.
After a few hours the seller contacted me and I got in my car and drove over 3 hours to pick it up. I have spliced together the best parts of each cab to create an uber cab. Finally this project is over!
Was it worth all of the money? The time? The trip to Queens? HELL YES!

PM me with details. Since I want to make it a multi, I would like to hear your reasons for not. Thanks.Scott, it is here. I toyed with going the multi Taito route or possible installing SI Part II, but I am going to sell it. It is near complete and in solid shape.
Nice Job. Curious as to why there are square pieces of electrical tape on the wires coming out of the transformer though. In progress shot of closing them off or some other reason?
