Did anyone make a kit for the SI Taito? I know there's one for the Midway.

Also, this one has a 4 pcb stack and is showing garbage on the screen.

Any ideas before I start to troubleshoot?

Thanks in advance!

I dunno. The one I have has a bad power supply. I ended up hacking in a switcher using the reset circuit on the original PS and got it to work. Unfortunately, after being one for a few hours, it hangs and you have to turn it off and back on for it to work properly again.

I'm either going to find a working PS to put in it, or I'm going to pull that one out and completely rebuild it...

Yes, if you request it, Braze Technologies will make you a kit for the Taito PCBs. I have one running in my Taito SI upright.

Just check to see that the CPU is socketed on your PCB - I think they typically are on the 3-PCB stack. Otherwise you'll need to de-solder the CPU and put a socket in its place, which is what I needed to do with my L-shaped Taito PCB.
