Taito Space Invaders Trimline control panel info needed

The joystick on SI trimline has a leaf spring switch and a microswitch. The rest of the buttons use microswitches, but it is not uncommon for a game like that to use a combination of both (leaf springs on the joysticks and micros on the buttons).

So if any of you out there could provide me with a little info or a pic of the control panel that would be great.

Thanks,
Wayne

What info are you looking for??? What do you need pictures of (CPO, joystick, whole underside of the control panel, wiring)???

ArcadeShop sells a nice rebuild kit for the joystick. It says that it is for Williams games, but it is a direct fit for the Taito TrimLine Space Invaders...

Nice graphic on that control panel overlay ;-)

I just noticed your graphic is different than mine. Mine has thin black outline on all the red areas, the white letters and the yellow player icons.

I think that it looks different because of the crappy camera I used at the time.

Here is a current picture of the two CPOs in my posession...

Sorry...I need pictures of the underside of the control panel....what types of switches are used...mine has 3 different types...

The control panel uses microswitches for all inputs. The joystick looks like it uses a leaf switch too but it is actually just a mechanical piece to send the joystick back to center. Now the control panel uses two types of microswitches in that the joystick uses the roller actuators and the buttons use straight arm actuators. Here are the pix...

Thanks NERDTendo - that is exactly what I was looking for! My joystick has a leaf spring on one side and microswitch on the other...and was not sure which was correct - I can now properly rebuild it.
Thanks again,
Wayne
