taito space invaders t mould

my sample is off to china sometime next week

i have been doing some research.

it seams this orange / black t mould lived its life for just 6 years in its production in various cabinets from 1977 to 1982

the first game to ever use this orange / black t mould was taito attack 1976
the last game was front line 1982.

here is the list of games as far as i know also uses the same orange and black t mould as seen on a taito space invaders.

the list is not complete and im sure there might be a few missing.

I am getting closer to having this made.

The only hiccup I have come across in the dying stages is that I have now discovered there are 2 different sizes.

My Si2 cabinet molding is 3/4" (19mm) and my generic Taito cabinets are 5/8" (16mm).
What would be the most popular?

If you had to get one size made to start with, which would be better or have more demand?

cheers for any input.

Cheers Dez.

Everything was going sweet because I had measured the 4x Taito cabinets I have here and they were all 16 mm.
Then I picked up an Si2 and that is 19mm.

That just threw a spanner into the works.

I would say 5/8" would be the best bet. You have quite a few people doing restores that would snap this up the moment it's available (myself included). I'm really surprised this T-molding has never been reproduced. I wonder why that is?
