I sent out a working Cadash and protected the RGB custom the best I could.
When it arrived for other member the colors were jacked up.
Had them send it back (sent a call tag) and as expected, the RGB custom was jacked up.
So hard to protect with those tiny little legs and easy to snap off.
I desoldered and more than a handful of the legs came off.
Used a machine pin socket and soldered stubs into each slot using the few legs that remained as the anchor points.
Checked continuity, no shorts between pins and all passed so I Epoxied both sides on almost a 90° to prevent it from sticking up and snapping off again.
Installed and back to Cadash-ing in full color.
Note, I don't think the pin spacing is exact but I found it to be close enough for the girls I date and she's back in business.
Solid and ready to play. I think this will ship safely now also.
