Posting pics of the process I went through on one of my clients full cosmetic restorations. I wish I would have done a video never enough hrs in the day.

I hope to do the same one day with my converted Qix/Arkanoid cab -> Zookeeper (multi Jrok) Taito project.
 
Wow, turned out great! Good job! Question...what primer do you use, and how did you thin it for HVLP?

Thanks man, I reduce with high grade lacquer thinner usually about a 1-1 mix ratio. You will need a larger tip on gun then standard I'm using a 2.2 normally it's a 1.3 for paint. This is sprayed out of my SATA.
 
Love it. My Qix is a smelly, crumbling, swollen cabinet that in no way can be restored. I'll be building a new cabinet and transferring the parts. I do already have nice bezel and stuff, but I hope mine turns out near as nice. I'll have to check out that primer.
