I picked up this World Series Baseball in a Qix cabinet today for $30.00. It mostly works, except the monitor has issues (posted in montor help). I see that it's missing the base, but fortunately someone put metal feet on it so the bottom isn't hammered.

Any idea how tall the original base is?
Are stencils available to repaint the cabinet?

I am going to eventually rip out the baseball and maybe convert it back to a Tatio game, any good taito games??????

Any help is appreciated. - Barry

Thanks again Todd, I'll have to order those stencils when I get to ripping this thing apart. A little work and a repaint will do it good. - Barry

I used standard 1x4's when I rebuilt my base:

Those stencils work out perfectly too:

That looks great. What is the width and depth of your base and where the wheels original or just a good idea. - Barry

Good News and Bad News (sort of), oh and great news......

Good News - worked on it a little tonight and have a new base and wheels on it making it much easier to move.

Great News - Thanks to Dokert the monitor is working great! I recapped the main chassis and 1 board while the man Dave fixed up the hor/ver board and now it's good to go.

Bad News - plugged the monitor in and I have the same problem as before just brighter and crisper. I have to check voltages on the boardset, but it appears the boardset has issues. I'm a little bummed since it would have been nice to play a little baseball tonight, but I guess it's time to search for Taito parts...............

If anyone has any Taito boards, wiring, marquees, control panels etc they are looking to get rid of let me know. - Barry
