Hi,

I have a taito power supply that I repaired a few weeks ago and it was working fine. Now measuring the voltage coming off the PS board they all pulse. That is, when I set my meter to hold it beeps at me constantly. The voltages were perfect before after replacing the bridge rectifier and 3055s and 2094s. Does this pulsing mean I am getting half wave DC meaning a bridge rectifier failure? I tested all three and they test fine.

I know I can replace it with a switcher but I would really like to get this working again.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Daniel

Have you checked the circuit for AC voltages? It sounds like the filter caps are failing...

Checked the AC voltage on the pins and they are minimal - around 50mV. Just in case, I swapped the two big caps from another board and same thing.
