I finally pulled my Jungle King out of storage after clearing out a few games. Replaced the line cord because rats chewed it up and nothing. Monitor fires but doesn't look like anythings getting to the board. I know a lot of guys on here just jam switchers with adapters in there but there's a few who go the rebuild route. I guess this question is for those guys. Where do you source your parts? There's some giant oddball caps on that second board. Is there someone selling rebuild kits? I have an elevator action too and I'd like to probably rebuild that if it isn't a pain.

I'm one of those guys whom "jam" a new switching power supply into all my taito games i own or have owned.. Actually I use ATX power supplies with an adapter a buddy of mine designed. Installed correctly, they work for years and can keep the game cool as most have fans.

I've never seen a kit available for taito linear power supplies.. Just pull out a schematic and start scourcing! Good luck

I have several of those taito games with the original power supply. Usually I just order the parts from jameco, mouser, or digikey. In my experience those supplies are pretty reliable and there aren't enough parts on there that "always fail" to need a rebuild kit, so I just order piece-by-piece what I need.

Those huge capacitors are just for filtering and I've never needed to replace them. The bridge rectifiers and the TO-3 transistors are usually what's bad for me.
