Can someone post a picture of how a Taito cab holds the marquee?

The top side of mine looks hacked and I do not know what it should look like.

Thank you in advance.

Your photo looks potentially fine. Here's my QIX. The marquee goes into a slot on the top and is held by an L bracket on the bottom.

Hey thanks. So there is a slot where the marquee fits on the top?

Here's a closer look at mine.

The top is all chipped and there and I can barely make out a slot where the marquee fits. It looks like it's all worn down.

The is a big ugly black U-shaped piece that is holding the top in. It's screwed into to the top of the wood.

Here's another photo of my other cabinet (zookeeper) with everything removed, in case that helps. Notice the slot routed into the top that holds the marquee, blocks of wood on the side, and a slot for T-molding on the top.

Yours doesn't look terrible in the photos. Maybe after some T-molding and paint you'll be happier with it.

Perfect, thanks. One last question: Looks like there is also a slot for t-molding going from right to left above the marquee. Is that correct?
