Taito jamma multigame board ??

Upon review.
It looks like it's stretched, and since you can not use a spinner, and probably
a coin counter either. $100 may be high. Especially with the Neo 108 being around.
Still this could be an interesting board if there are other games out there for it,
like the afformentioned capcom games.
Let us know the details when you have them.

Yeah... the more I investigate these things the less I like about them. No high score saving will likely kill this idea for me... any know?

I was just reading about how a guy picked a full bartop up for $100 over on the Neo forums...

I seriously doubt that these will be available for $100. When I suggested that I might sell mine I had several people eager to hand over 150 clams for it.

Sorry, no high score saving. Finding a used bartop for ~$100-$150 is probably your best bet for obtaining one of these boards.

Bah... no high score saving kills it I think. If I came across a bartop for $100-$150 i might consider it for the bartop itself... it's cool. Plus it's JAMMA so you could stick any JAMMA board in there I'd imagine...

I would be shocked and amazed if the boards are that loved by the manufacturer at this
stage in the game. We shall see.
If anyone can pull a rabbit out of the hat it'll be Nix.
Any smart business man is going to jump at the chance to unload those dusty old boards :)

Except the power supply doesn't output 12 volts IIRC. You would just need to add in a 2nd power supply. There isn't a lot of room inside the cab either. The monitor board and power supply is large and all inclusive.

We have the upright 20 game version at work in the lunch room and the games play well. The controls are much higher quality than the target williams machine.

I just wish someone hadn't broken the P1 joystick... I miss playing Jungle Hunt and Bubble Bobble at work. Arkanoid is useless in these machines... it's basically unplayable with a joystick instead of a spinned.

Yes, it is tight. I did manage to squeeze a new PS and a Neo Geo 1-slot in there.

The boards are a generic platform and HanaHo could repurpose them for any emulation project they are contracted to do. So I don't think they're ready to dump them yet....

I hear ya.
It's the repurposing that could be the really interesting part now that 2g SD cards
are like $10.
Here is a link to that Neo thread for those interested:

Seems like this one has the potential to add a lot more games!!!
The right minded business man could probably go far with this....
If only the price is right, and the .img files are around /// hint hint
If the Mfg. is still actually producing it, then perhaps they could make the boards more Arcade Friendly.
But there could well be a coin opp exclusion in their license.

If anyone could ever get a batch of these to sell at a $100-$120 price point, I am likely interested...
