What is your opinion of this multigame board? how many games are on it? how does it feel and play? how much do they run? sorry for all the questions, just curious.

dave.... i too have been wanting to play this TAITO multiboard for quite sometime. i think the pcbs are different (depending on the bartop or standup) version. the standup version has twice as many games or so .. i think?? chris

yeah I have never heard about this, is there alink somewhere to outline what it offers?

They are the boards out of these.

Fro what I understand they both use the same board with an SD card being the only difference.

I would like to get some of these boards.
Anyone have a source for the board only?

Looks like these boards were something Clay worked on, not that I know him, but hear the
name around. So I would be surprised if there were none floating around.

I'd be all over one if it was reasonably priced... 10 or 20 (20 preferred). I'd buy one of those bartops aside from the fact shipping would kick my ass...

I've got the Taito Bartop which I changed over to the 20 game upright, I used to have the SNK Bartop and the Taito Upright as well. They all use the same board and the only difference is the SD card. I have the .img files for all three if anyone wants them.

Yeah, I'd just like the board.
I bet there is a hoard somewhere.

*edit* sorry Loegan was replying to Friz. I may hit you up if I can sniff a board.

Looks like it was from a company named Jazwares....
Still digging.

looks like the selection screen is OK.
I would hope that retailing for $800 originally they would be good.
Also looks like a licensed product, so I'd bet it's darn close.

There is a lengthy thread about these machines over at Neo Geo.com
They were made by Jazwares, however the PCB and software was from Hanaho games.

I picked up the Neo Geo 6-game bartop off of craigslist, put a real Neo Geo board in it with the 100-in-1 multicart, then took the HanaHo JAMMA PCB and loaded it with the Taito 20-game SD card to put in another cab. Here's the game list:

All very decent emulation (although playing Arkanoid with a stick just plain sucks). Menu system is nice. It will stay on the selected game until you hit the "back to menu" button. I believe the menu button is on the JAMMA "Tilt" switch... I wired up a simple circuit that sent that signal when both P1 and P2 Start were pressed (some day I'll post a tutorial on how to create a "virtual button" like that).
