Taito Frontline -pickup @ Allentown PA. Pinball Show
I've had this machine posted for some time, lots of interest, but the "if you were closer" seemed to be the response.
Well, I am willing to transport it to Allentown, PA in 2 weeks (May 4,5) if someone wants it.
Price will still be $325 with me hauling it 9hrs across PA, I would like to get payment before I move it though.
I have a spare PCB, cost is $45, works, but explosion sounds linger.
If something should happen and I can't get it to Allentown, payment will be 100% refunded.
Here are some details:
-98% working, one coin slot doesn't give credits, will check more when I get time.
-Monitor has a great picture (WG4900), but does have minor burn.
-Bezel is plexi w/ some scratches, still very useable. (OP had thrown a cord over the top and the plug was just touching the plexi)
-Side Art is good with scuffs and scrapes as would be expected.
-Lock mechanism is missing from the back door, a long cam lock would do.
-while I would say it doesn't have moisture damage in the traditional sense, it does have "fuzzy" corners on the bottom... see pictures.
-Taito linear power supply was replaced with a switcher.
-All controls work as they should, new white buttons (the rotary controller could use a good cleaning).
Ask for more pictures if you have interest and need some.
I do not want to surprise a buyer, so I'll be happy to take more pics!!
Fuzzy corners, not seen this before on other machines.
The original base is still solid, so not likely direct water exposure.
