Wired in a ATX power supply in my Elevator Action last night but did not get a chance to test it out till today. Powered it up and checked voltages before plugging in board. Everything tested good.
Plugged in board and started playing a game. Minute or so into the game I smelled something burning. Looked behind the cab to see the pcb smoking.
Previous 2SD633 transistor was starting to melt. I pulled the transistor from the board and cross referenced it to a TIP 102. Installed the new transistor and powered on. Transistor gets very hot after about 10 seconds.
Not sure where to go from here. I see a few 1k resistors that are connected just before the transistor. I am gonna check those next.
