Look for the full restoration thread in the Restoration Forum sometime in the next few days likely... for now...

Is that my multi-Taito? That came out absolutely gorgeous. Let me know what the final bill came to... :D

Nice! I need to get off my ass and strip my cab down. Did you spray or roller the stencil??

This was my first stencil and it was sprayed on. I can only take half credit as my friend Dan did the actual spraying...though we both prepped it and put on the stencils, etc...

Good job! Looks great. I look forward to seeing the full thread and how you did the stencils.

I hope to find an empty classic Taito cab someday to make a "dedicated" Bubble Bobble. I know it was never dedicated, but I think it could be done well with a nice custom color scheme.

Looks sweet, Jon. I look forward to getting the hideous green off of my EA, but that's going to be quite a while down the road unfortunately. How happy are you with the cpo? Mine's in nice enough condition that it wouldn't be worth replacing it with what's available now, but with the cracking on yours I'm sure you're happy with the results.

Jess, I'd love to get a bubble bobble eventually too, and I like that idea. Be sure to post about your project if and when it happens!

I'm not too happy with the CPO... but not completely dissatisfied either. There are a couple corrections that need to be made before I'd purchase it. I'll include that info in my restoration thread but essentially there is a layer that needs be fixed and the right side has an error in it as well...

I came close to getting a beat up classic Taito with an untested Bubble Bobble board at the Fresno fire sale, but had to pass on it due to space limitations. Still kicking myself for that one.

It's the perfect co-op game to play with your significant other. My wife loves it. It's cute, fun and challenging for the casual gamer.

I'll definitely look to Frizz's thread if I ever need a reference on how to do the stencils right and will keep you in the loop if the project ever sees the light of day. :)

Looks really good, Friz! I have a green taito in my garage now that is going to be converted to an EA. I will be doing the same thing. Was it hard?

No harder than usual... :)

Just make sure to pull your stencils before the paint dries too much...

Looks great! Personally I think this style Taito cab is the BEST looking classic of its type (the basic upright) ever made... the proportions of it are perfect.

That light and dark tan looks great with the control panel. Great job Friz...

great work it looks amazing, I know EA were kits in several different color cabs I'm trying to find the color codes on the actual flyer that were in a darker brown cab and not the WW colors if possible
