Man this pin is rough... lol, I think this miight be too far gone, but I im going to try it anyway. I started out by setting this pin back up on its legs, only to have the entire bottom board come crashng out of the cabinet onto the floor  Transformer, wires you name it, all laying on the floor :(.
The top of the pin is charred and covered with smoke soot. Im almost thining of leaving it in that state but just making it playable as is.
Hmmm well I need to make a new cabinet floor for it now and some how glue it in.

Just for continuity's sake, you can have my burnt LOTR cabinet and use that since it's in better condition :)

Lol, your not kidding, yours does look to be in much better shape. the wood in the bottom of this cab was distorted because the cab was probably fiilled with water from the fire dept. The cab is tight on this one once again and now to move to electronics. I need to identify all the little parts missing on this because it was being used for parts as it laid around.

It reminded me of a waterlogged black rose I parted out, when I got there the bottom had dropped as well taking the xformer, etc.. with it.

The glass was still on the cab though and the playfield was somewhat intact.

Lemme know once you have your list of small parts you are missing, I have tubs containing all the parts from that black rose and a sttng I parted out, I may be able to help.

Here's how to replace the bottom wood panel:

Your game looks to be salvagable, but you will have some work ahead.

99% Isopropyl rubbing alcohol will take the soot off the cabinet, but rub gently so as to not damage the artwork. I use Swan (made by Cumberland swan) barcode # 308691206108 in the 16 fluid ounce bottle which I buy at my local Fred Meyer superstore in with the first aid supplies.

You can pull out the wiring harnesses that interconnect the boards and wash the harnesses in Mean Green household cleaner while scrubbing it with an old toothbrush. The boards should get cleaned too. Take them out and if there are any socketed chips, remove those chips and set them aside carefully noting what chips went in what sockets. Now you can scrub the boards with a toothbrush dipped in the 99% alcohol. That'll get the soot and most of the smell off of them and allow the alcohol to get into the sockets to clean the contacts. Rinse the boards with hot water. Now spray the boards with Mean Green and scrub them again with an old toothbrush. This will get them looking good and remove the last traces of smell. Rinse well with hot water and blow dry the board with a hair dryer. It helps to have a can of air with the little red "pipe" handy to blow out the water underneath chips and connectors. When dry your boards should look like brand new again. Remember to re-install the chips you removed from the sockets. Don't put any in backwards.

Chas, I'm digging up this old dirty thread along with that old dirty ass T2.. I'm just curious to see if you were able to polish this turd up or not. Don't get me wrong, the game is great but that one is pretty rough. How did it go?

Lol, it cleaned up to be a decent "players" machine, it definately played better than it looked :D. I ended up selling the machine to a fellow enthusiast for 680 bucks. it would have been more profitable to part that machine out but I had a blast workinmg on it.

Ill post some after pics if I can find them and also some before and after pics of the Roadshow I got from that same pizza joint fire.

One interesting fact about the Roadshow is that the back box was destroyed by water damage but I was able to score a Medieval Madness complete backbox from a guy on ebay . So now I have an ultra valuable head on a so so pin ;)
