I tried searching about this but can't seem to find a definitive answer.

Today I picked up a broken Revolution x 2 player version. It turned out to just be a look connector.

Now that the game is up and running I have been reading about people putting a T2 Judgement day in their revolution x machine with a Jamma switcher. I have tried looking but just keep coming up with threads about people doing it but never saying how.

Does anyone know what is needed to accomplish this? Do you just need a jamma switcher and it works or are there different pin outs?

I don't know the answer to your question but what I would do is to carefully inspect the schematics of both the Revolution x and the terminator to see if you can insert the game boards into a jamma switcher. if not, you can make an adapter that goes from the say judgement day pcb into a jamma connector

hopefully someone knows the answer and can chime in but while you are waiting you can figure it out pretty easy like so you can get started on your fun project

I remember years ago some of the older jamma switchers were having problems with distributing the +5volts to both boards and a wire soldered across to both boards fixed that issue. if you are going to buy a new switcher that shouldn't be a problem anymore

those boards are pretty big and heavy. I think getting them to line up correctly into the switcher without torqueing the boards too much should be a fun invention

good luck and tell us how your project went for future peoples and curiousity plz

Its likely doable but you will probably have to switch more than just the JAMMA pins. Pot inputs, coil drives. Theres a lot more going on there than your usual JAMMA board.

I thought it would be a lot more complicated than just a jamma switcher. The reason I thought their might be a way is because there was a conversion kit from T2 to revolution x. I wasn't positive what all was included in the kit.

Thank you for your help.

Why not mount the T2 on the other side with the complete T2 harness and a second power supply and power switch. The guns are plug and play between the 2 games and the Rev X guns are much better for game play. Double all your connections where needed, monitor, guns, etc and power up the game you want to play. The 2 games are very different connection wise and there are several boards to power up, I think the jamma switcher would be a huge mess in this situation.
