I need to buy a bit for cutting slots for 3/4 inch t-molding...
I know t-molding.com sells them... can anyone tell me exactly what I need to purchase?
I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

You need the arbor and the 3/32 slot cutter blade.

Just use your side cutters and notch it

Here's mine -

Cuts quick and easy, and the slot is the perfect size for a snug fit.

I use a t-slot cutter made by Freud. Part numbers for the set (slotting cutter, arbor, & ball bearing) for the 1/16" cutter height are:

63-100 = 1/4" shank
63-150 = 1/2" shank

You only need one of these depending upon what collect your router will handle -- 1/4" or 1/2".

Can you pick these up at Home Depot or Sears? Or are they not common enough, whereas you would need to go to a woodworking shop to pick one up?

EDIT: Scratch that, it looks like MLCS has free shipping anyways. I am assuming that there is a quality difference between what they sell and what Home Depot sells. Yes? No?

I have a router I use with a 1/16" blade that I bought from Lowes or Home Depot.

humm i been using a 1/16 slot cutter but i gotta beat the shit out of it to get it to go in.

Harbor Freight carries a set decent bit set including a 1/16" slot cutter for about $30.

neither HD nor Lowe's near me carry any slot cutters as narrow as 1/16", but i do have a Tool Town that has a nice Bosch blade and arbor for about $20 - $25... i might just go with the HF set since i don't plan on using it all that much.
