So.....we probably tire of these t-molding threads, and I'm nearly always a stickler for original t-molding color. That said, the Sys 2 cabinets are NOT the most eye catching and I was thinking a red or blue or ?? color t-molding might spruce em up. I have started on a Paperboy restore and will be doing a Champ Sprint later. Both will get the repro sideart and extensive restores. (both need it)

-red or blue could compliment the Paperboy CPO colors
-I would like the Paperboy and Champ Sprint to have same color t-molding, or at least compliment each other if put together in a room

Any opinions? Thanks........

BTW.. my Paperboy plays, but in this sorry state right now, with the bad pot not letting you speed up the bike......

What about using both red and blue? Don't be afraid to mix it up a little. Red on one side and blue on the other? and then reverse it on the other cab? I've done this with a few of mine and it looks cool.

Thanks, but I don't think I'm a fan of mixing the colors. Hard enough for me to stray from factory original look!

I'd probably go blue. Too much red with the CPO to go that route. You could always go chrome! What are you doing for your handlebars?

For the handlebars, I got NOS main bar parts from Mylstar a long while back. The covers, though, will either be polished or replated. Got NOS blue grips, new pots, and some of the gears I think. I'd like to replace the bearings as well and make it like new. My overlays are actually in pretty good shape, so I'll probably leave those alone.

I'm thinking chrome might actually be a possibility on these.. It would match 720's speaker box look, so Atari 'did' use chrome on some stuff, makes it seem more like an option.
